Amazon Business Analyst II, Revenue Cycle Program Manager in San Francisco, California

Amazon One Medical (AOM) is passionately working to build a best-in-class healthcare product designed to make high-quality healthcare easy to access. We own Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) within AOM, which represents the comprehensive financial lifecycle that manages patient accounts from their initial healthcare service request/appointment booking through to the final payment settlement. This process is fundamental to AOM's financial stability and operational efficiency, allowing us to focus primarily on delivering quality patient care.

We are seeking a talented Program Manager to support RCM with respect to our Health System Partners (HSPs). Working cross-functionally with our OM Operations, Technology, and other teams, the Revenue Cycle Program Manager will own processes and procedures relating to the implementation of new HSPs, as well as maintenance and escalations to existing HSPs.

This person is a key driver in making sure that the revenue cycle process with our HSPs and other external partners runs smoothly, informing internal teams and keeping other managers abreast of any updates, changes, and developments.

Key job responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert and develop a strong understanding of the mechanics of Amazon One Medical’s partnerships with both health systems and health plans

  • Organize meetings both internally and externally with our HSPs; ensure all information is up to date in our tracking system

  • Track HSP-defined KPIs through analysis of complex data sets and work with team leaders to ensure that AOM is meeting agreed-upon SLAs

  • Coordinate with key functional areas (product development, marketing, legal etc) to ensure project plans are on track

  • Collaborate with the revenue cycle team to create client-ready presentations and reports for our HSPs

  • Contribute to the improvement of standard work and processes for all revenue cycle partnership-related functions

  • Monitor and manage the centralized payor team inbox, adhering to internal SLAs and commitments

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
