Quality Engineer
Location: San Fernando, CA
Pay Rate: $50 per Hour
Reports to: Director of Quality

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives and ensure products meet the highest standards of performance and compliance. This is a high-visibility role where your analytical skills, leadership ability, and process improvement mindset will directly influence operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct inspections, testing, analysis, and integration to ensure product quality
Review engineering designs and vendor documentation for compliance
Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to evaluate and improve processes
Review and approve purchased components and vendor quality performance
Document and report quality assurance findings
Develop corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
Present technical findings and recommendations to leadership
Lead and support team members engaged in quality activities
Maintain compliance with industry and government quality standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree OR 1–2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with SPC and process improvement
Project management and cross-functional communication skills
Leadership abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
Commitment to safety and operational excellence
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Primarily office-based with regular exposure to manufacturing environments
Regular standing and walking
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Exposure to operational noise and temperature variations when in production areas

Pay Details: $50.00 per hour
