KPS Global is a privately held company, owned by the Viessmann Generations Group, with more than 850 employees. We are looking for a Project Manager, to join the Construction Services Department.
The EHS Supervisor is responsible for leading day‑to‑day Environmental, Health, and Safety activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and standards. This role provides hands-on leadership, oversight of safety programs, incident response, and ongoing training to support a safe and compliant workplace. The EHS Supervisor partners closely with operations leadership to drive continuous improvement in safety culture and environmental performance.
Required Skills
Safety & Health
Implement and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs, policies, and procedures as part of the Safety Management System (SMS)
Conduct regular facility inspections, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses (JSAs)
Lead and/or support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
Coordinates with outside agency services for health and safety training, education, and government compliance regulations
Manage and track leading/lagging safety performance metrics
Provide coaching and support to supervisors and frontline employees to reinforce safe behaviors
Oversee the PPE program and ensure proper selection, use, and maintenance of protective equipment
Coordinate emergency preparedness, evacuation drills, and severe weather response
Environmental Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable EPA and state environmental regulations
Support air, water, waste, and hazardous materials management programs
Maintain environmental records, permits, manifests, and required regulatory documentation in accordance with ISO 14001 standards
Conduct inspections related to spill prevention, waste storage, and pollution prevention practices
Assist with environmental reporting such as Tier II, TRI, and waste generation logs, as applicable
Training
Develop and deliver EHS training programs (e.g., lockout/tagout, hazard communication, equipment safety, ergonomics)
Maintain accurate training records and ensure all personnel meet required competencies
Support onboarding orientations for new hires and contractors
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Lead safety committees, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives
Participate in audits and implement corrective and preventive actions
Support continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing risk, improving compliance, and enhancing safety culture
Required Experience
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field; OR equivalent experience
3–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or related environment
Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
Demonstrated experience conducting training and leading incident investigations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Supervisory or team‑lead experience.
Professional certifications (e.g., GSP, ASP, CSP, CHST, OHST)
Experience with ISO 14001 / 45001 or similar management systems
Background in risk assessment, ergonomics, or behavior‑based safety
Bilingual in Spanish
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk, stand, or climb for extended periods in an industrial environment
Capable of wearing required PPE including respirators, safety glasses, and protective clothing
Ability to respond to emergencies on site, including outside normal business hours
Working Conditions
Combination of office and plant/manufacturing environment
Exposure to noise, temperature variations, and industrial hazards requiring adherence to safety protocols
