Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our Software Technology Solutions team based in Irvine, CA or San Diego , CA .

In this key role, you will be responsible for driving and leading the product vision, strategy and roadmap for our smart, connected care platform for data analytics and insights, powered by AI and the enabled through the cloud.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, aligning features with measurable outcomes that bring value to our customers. Additionally, you will collaborate with various teams to understand clinical, legal, quality, regulatory, and customer support requirements, ensuring product requirements and readiness and ensuring on-time product delivery.

Sr. Technical Product Manag er (Sr. TPM)

Sr. TPM for BD's cloud connectivity platform will play a very valuable role for the product and engineering organization. The key primary responsibilities of this role would be collaborating with partners and stakeholders to understand customer and market requirements, and lead and manage prioritizing for the product backlog and oversee development of detailed requirements and stories.

To accomplish this, you will work in a collaborative product team to define and document feature requirements; work with customers to test and validate new releases; liaise with the customers to ensure that issues and defects are triaged, prioritized, and remediated; collaborate with product teams including software engineering and architecture to enable delivery activities across the release train.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision and Leadership: Provide vision and direction to theproductteam throughout the product lifecyclewith acustomer-first mindset,understanding customers’ workflows andproblems to solve.

  • Requirements Definition and Analysis: Develop crisp productrequirementsthat can be used to drive product specifications and architecture, ensuring a clear understanding of productobjectivesand priorities for the product owner and development team.

  • Backlog Management: Work with the product owner to prepare and prioritize productfeatures to enableworkflow and alignment with the product vision andcustomer value.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Keepstakeholdersand cross-teamcollaborators informed on product status and lead product release plans, setting expectations forfuture growth.

  • Project Management Partnership : Provide active leadership in mitigating impediments, ensuring governance for change management, leading adjustments to the plan, and managing dependencies tofacilitatesuccessful completion ofrelease goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, ComputerScience, InformationTechnologyor Software related fields.

  • 7+ years of experience asa product manager.

  • 3+ years of experience working withcloud and/or SaaS products

  • Strong understanding ofAImodels andworkloads,cloud computing, APIs, and developer tools.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, strategies, and technical concepts clearly and effectively to varied audiences.

  • Demonstrated capability to lead, influence, and deliver results both with and without formal authority, consistently fostering cross‑functional collaboration in support of strategic businessobjectives.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in team settings.

  • Experience with Agile practices and principles.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Creative thinking with a focus oncustomer centricproduct improvements.

  • Driveproduct roadmap development.

  • Advanced understanding of medical device regulations andquality and regulatorystandards is a plus.

This position is designated as a hybrid in office role (4 days per week). Our office is currently undergoing setup, so employees hired before completion of the new space will work remotely on a temporary basis. In-office work will begin once the new office opens, which we expect to occur by the end of the calendar year.

Salary Range Information

$155,900.00 - $257,300.00 USD Annual
