*This is a benefited, full time position generally working 8am-5pm but shifts may vary based on assignment. Required to float to any Scripps Clinic based on need. Due to travelling nature of this position, you'll receive a differential while on this team. *

*Why Systemwide Float Pool? *

• Scripps Systemwide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports all Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego. These are outpatient facilities.
• As a member of the float team, you can fill vital roles on assignments providing critical coverage for employees' leave of absences and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments.
• Be flexible, open to floating, & confident in your abilities when given a short orientation to jumping right in to help!

*What you'll do: *

• *Shifts and locations will vary at the clinics throughout San Diego. *
• Ensure Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Patient care includes compliance with patient assessments and care tasks, triaging, completion of clinical procedures, emergency protocols and medication administration.
• Works collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

• ADN or Nursing Diploma
• 18 months of recent RN experience, 1 of which in a Clinic environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors

Required Certification/Registration:

• CA RN license
• BLS through American Heart Association

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

• BSN
• EPIC experience
• 2 years in clinic setting
• Experience with 2 providers with 15 patients per day

Travel Requirements:

• Work between Scripps Clinic locations throughout San Diego
