Job Title: Project ManagerAbout the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead cross‑functional projects within the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. This role is responsible for overseeing project execution from initiation through completion, ensuring milestones are met on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will leverage project management and data‑driven tools, including MS Project and Power BI, to drive visibility, accountability, and successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end‑to‑end projects within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
Oversee project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project.
Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, adjusting plans as needed.
Utilize Power BI to analyze project data, track performance metrics, and deliver clear reporting to stakeholders.
Communicate project status, timelines, and risks effectively to cross‑functional teams and leadership.
Ensure projects follow established project management methodologies and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes and reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven project management experience within the biotech and/or pharmaceutical industries.
Strong proficiency using MS Project for scheduling and progress tracking.
Experience leveraging Power BI for data analysis, visualization, and project reporting.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
Experience managing cross‑functional teams and complex, regulated projects.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Work Environment

You will work closely with diverse stakeholders while utilizing modern project management and analytics tools to improve project performance and drive successful outcomes.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $38.46/hr.
