Training Program/Project Management Mission
Support Fleet readiness by leading and coordinating DDG 1000 (Zumwalt-class) training programs in direct support of PMS 339. This role ensures Sailors receive timely, effective, and technically accurate training through modernized classrooms, laboratories, and Navy Training Systems aligned with Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) principles.

Primary Responsibilities
Manage and evaluate training programs supporting DDG 1000 new construction and modernization
Provide direct program support to PMS 339 for the upkeep and development of:
Zumwalt training classrooms
Laboratories and training devices
Coordinate training efforts across:
Program offices
Training centers
Shipbuilders
Fleet stakeholders
Oversee cost, schedule, and performance of DDG 1000 training initiatives
Support lifecycle training planning in alignment with Navy Training System requirements
Ensure training execution aligns with approved requirements and Fleet needs
Training Systems & Curriculum Support
Consult with internal teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop, review, and improve training programs
Provide guidance to external agency SMEs on training design, training development, instructional effectiveness
Evaluate training programs and training equipment effectiveness
Apply feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement
Ensure training solutions support Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) objectives
Program & Stakeholder Coordination
Serve as a central coordination point between:
PMS 339
Shipbuilders
Training activities
Fleet representatives
Support classroom and lab modernization efforts tied to training delivery
Maintain alignment between technical systems, training content, and operational use
Ensure training schedules and resources support Fleet introduction timelines
Who Should Apply
This role is well suited for senior Navy leaders, program managers, and training professionals with experience supporting surface combatant readiness and training systems.
Strong candidates often come from backgrounds such as:
Ratings / Designators: EM, ET, MM, GSE/GSM, FC / FCA, IT, IC, Surface Warfare Officers (SWO), Limited Duty Officers (LDO) / Chief Warrant Officers (CWO)
Training & Program Experience
Navy Training Systems development or execution
Curriculum development or review
Training facility or lab modernization support
PMS, PEO, TYCOM, or acquisition program support
If you’ve managed Navy training programs, supported surface combatant readiness, or coordinated across program offices and Fleet stakeholders—you’re likely a strong fit for this role.
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) OR 15+ years of relevant experience
7+ years of professional experience
Interim Secret clearance or higher
Must be a US Citizen

- Navy Training Systems experience

Advanced degree in a business or technical discipline

10+ years of professional experience
Navy Surface Combatant experience

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
Posted Salary Range
USD $95,500.00 - USD $149,200.00 /Yr.
