Job Title: Cleanroom Technician-2nd/3rd Shift-$19-21/hr.
Job Description
Engage in daily production and packaging activities following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all related standard operating procedures (SOPs). Strive to meet production goals and handle sudden increases in workload to ensure timely product release and avoid back orders.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Team Leader to detail critical raw materials, in-process procedures, and specifications.
Identify and implement corrective actions for technical issues related to raw materials and finished products.
Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finished products.
Address line issues and production problems, promptly notifying the Team Leader of required corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and all related SOPs.
Utilize a computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system to report lot-controlled ingredients on batch records.
Essential Skills
Understanding of cleanroom environments, production processes, and adherence to GDP and SOP.
Experience in machine operation, quality assurance, packaging, and inspection.
Proficiency in computer operation and familiarity with GMP guidelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least two years of previous assembly/packaging experience, preferably in a regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
Experience with coagulation-based manufacturing processes is advantageous.
Familiarity with GDP, GMP, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), FDA, and ISO standards.
Knowledge of qualification and validation trials is a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred.

Work Environment
There are openings across three shifts: first shift from 6am to 2:30pm, second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, and third shift from 9:30pm to 6am. The dress code requires pants, no makeup or lipstick, and necklaces must be tucked into shirts. Glasses must have side shields. The environment can be loud, but ear protection is provided. Headphones and cell phones are not permitted on the manufacturing floor. Overtime may be required, with some shifts mandatory after training. Reliability is crucial as absenteeism can cause bottlenecks in the process.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.85/hr.
