Workers will operate heavy and tractor-trailer trucks to transport freight and cargo safely and efficiently to designated locations. Duties include: Driving commercial motor vehicles on local and long-distance routes Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections Complying with DOT safety regulations Maintaining delivery and transportation records Loading and unloading cargo when required Securing freight properly Verifying shipment documentation Following all traffic laws and company policies Position is temporary due to seasonal increase in demand.
