Pay
- $21.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Food Service Worker to support daily operations in a school district cafeteria in Encinitas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, large kitchen environment and contributing to a positive experience for students and staff.
Responsibilities
Dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen equipment
General cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and cafeteria areas
Food preparation and assembly
Assisting with typical large-scale kitchen duties
Following food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Requirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Valid Food Handler’s Certificate (required for application consideration)
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Ability to follow directions and maintain cleanliness standards
Previous food service or cafeteria experience preferred, but not required
