Entry Level Cleanroom Assembly Technician - 1st Shift
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Pipette Manufacturing and Assembly Technician, where you will be responsible for the manual assembly and manufacturing of pipettes, working primarily under a microscope. This position involves precision work with glass pieces, focusing on heat packaging, and shaping pipette tips. You will also have the opportunity to cross-train in our automated manufacturing department, enhancing your skillset in a clean room environment.
Responsibilities
Manufacture and assemble pipettes using manual processes.
Operate under a microscope to ensure accuracy and precision in pipette assembly.
Load glass pieces into heat packaging and shape pipette tips using heat transfer techniques.
Meet daily output and yield requirements, while showing consistent improvement.
Cross-train in the automated manufacturing department.
Adhere to cleanroom protocols and gowning procedures.
Participate in a linear workflow model, mastering each manufacturing station.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in working under a microscope for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and hand dexterity.
Familiarity with production, inspection, and packaging processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in a cleanroom environment.
Ability to measure small components with precision.
Willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed.

Work Environment
Work in a cleanroom environment with strict gowning procedures, including wearing hairnets, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Enjoy the flexibility of adjustable desks and encouraged breaks to rest your eyes and stretch. Choose from two shifts: first shift (6:30 am to 3:00 pm) and second shift (3:30 pm to midnight). Join a team of around 30 dedicated individuals and experience a supportive work culture.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
