Responsibilities:
Â
Act as the Rides Manager on Duty, making operational decisions and ensuring smooth operations across all rides.Â
Ensure team compliance with safety standards and Six Flags policies.Â
Oversee and collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of ride shut down.Â
Supervise, develop, and evaluate the leadership team and team members, holding them accountable for attendance, performance, cleanliness, and meeting departmental goals.Â
Adhere to and enforce operating expense budgets to ensure we are aligned with company guidelines. Â
Establishing a culture of feedback, learning, and adaptation to continuously improve efficiency and meet evolving throughput goals. Â
Prioritize Guests needs to deliver an outstanding experience.Â
Support team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of rides.Â
Collaborate with the training team to ensure team members and leadership are properly certified and prepared for success.Â
Work closely with supervisors, team members, and department heads to advance departmental initiatives.Â
Collaborate with the scheduling team to maintain adequate staffing levels for daily operations and special events.Â
Uphold park standards for safety, friendliness, cleanliness, and efficiency.Â
Comply with all other duties assigned to support the Operations Division and the Parkâs operation.Â
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age.Â
Must possess a valid Driverâs License.Â
Ability to work a flexible schedule and varied shifts including holidays and weekends.Â
Working knowledge of Microsoft office.Â
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Â
Possess the ability to work independently and manage high level tasks and projects.Â
Commitment to a total safety, having a strong safety-first mentality. Â
Preferred a minimum of 3 years theme park experience, including at least 1 year in leadership.Â
Preferred current iROC Trainer or Instructor Certification.
