Job Title: Expeditor II

Location: San Antonio

Potential: Contract-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Travel: Up to 25%

Overview

System One is seeking an Expeditor II to support document control and supplier coordination for large-scale engineering and construction projects. This role is responsible for tracking and driving supplier documentation to ensure alignment with project schedules and contract requirements.

This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role requiring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Track and expedite supplier document submittals to meet project schedules

  • Follow up on missing, incomplete, or returned documentation with suppliers and engineering teams

  • Conduct weekly analysis on supplier performance and identify delays

  • Participate in weekly engineering and project expediting meetings

  • Provide status updates to internal teams and stakeholders

  • Support Advanced Work Packaging by ensuring documentation is delivered on time

  • Run expediting calls with suppliers and project teams

  • Prepare meeting agendas and publish meeting minutes

  • Identify and escalate ongoing supplier or documentation issues

  • Support expediting efforts for equipment, materials, and documentation delivery

  • May be required to support fabrication facilities or job sites as needed

    Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (expediting, document control, project coordination, or similar)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree

  • 2–5+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in expediting within industrial or construction projects

  • Experience leading or coordinating teams

  • Working knowledge of Oracle

  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
