Location : San Antonio, TX
Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Payrate: $16/hour

At PDS Tech Commercial , we partner with a top innovator in beverage manufacturing—and we’re looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Distribution Center Administrative Assistant / Clerk to help keep operations running seamlessly. In this role, you’ll serve as a central point of coordination and communication, supporting sales, HR, payroll, and administrative functions that keep the distribution center moving efficiently.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in daily operations across multiple functions:
Sales Support
Manage front desk and phone reception with professionalism
Enter call-in orders and urgent “hotshot” requests
Prepare and distribute sales materials
Track coupons and maintain reporting boards
Assist with sales meeting notices and handouts
Administrative Operations
Coordinate employee events, meetings, and catering
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
Maintain phone directories and schedules
Ensure compliance with audit guidelines
Support leadership with day-to-day administrative tasks
Assist with inventory processes as assigned
Human Resources Support
Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation
Collect, review, and distribute new hire documentation
Maintain job postings and compliance records
Track safety training and reporting requirements
Payroll & Records
Maintain labor codes and process hour transfers
Monitor timekeeping systems (Kronos) and payroll activities
Ensure proper approvals for payroll processing
Track audit compliance for timekeeping and incentives
Security & IT Coordination
Manage facility access, visitor logs, and badge assignments
Maintain surveillance records and access systems
Support office equipment, phone systems, and voicemail maintenance
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
0–3 years of experience in an office or administrative environment
At least 1 year of finance-related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Accurate data entry and experience with multi-line phone systems
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to pass credit, criminal, and drug screening
Flexible schedule
Preferred Qualifications
Some college coursework
Bilingual skills
Experience in a fast-paced distribution or logistics environment

Pay Details: $16.00 per hour
