Stryker Process Mining Lead in San Antonio de Belen, Costa Rica

Job description

The Process Mining Lead is a senior, hands-on expert responsible for driving process transparency, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives using leading Process Mining platforms such as Celonis, SAP Signavio, and UiPath Process Mining.

This role requires deep expertise in process analysis, data-driven insights, and process transformation within Finance and shared services environments. The Process Mining Lead acts as a recognized subject matter expert and strategic partner, leveraging advanced analytics and event log data to uncover inefficiencies, quantify value opportunities, and support fact-based decision-making.

The role focuses on translating business questions into process mining use cases, enabling end-to-end process visibility, and guiding stakeholders from insight to action through targeted improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and performance monitoring.

What you will do::

  • Partner with Finance, business, and technical teams toidentify, prioritize, and deliver process mining use cases that address critical business challenges and value opportunities.

  • Drive consensus on process improvement and transformation strategies usingobjective, data-driven insights derived from process mining analyses.

  • Define andmaintainend-to-end process models, KPIs, and performance dashboards using tools such asCelonis, SAPSignavio, or UiPath Process Mining.

  • Translate business questions and improvement requests into clearprocessmining requirements, including data needs, KPIs, and analytical views.

  • Perform deep-dive process analyses toidentifybottlenecks, rework, deviations, compliance gaps, and automation opportunities.

  • Present process insights and recommendations in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner to business and functional leaders.

  • Serve as a trusted consultative partner to continuously improve service delivery, operational efficiency, and process standardization.

  • Support the deployment of process improvement initiatives, automation candidates, and system enhancements based on mining insights.

  • Conduct feasibility andimpactassessments for process changes, automation, and transformation initiatives.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on current and emerging process mining capabilities, best practices, and tool functionalities.

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of process models, analytical assumptions, KPIs, insights, and improvement recommendations.

  • Collaborate with data, IT, and automation teams to ensure data quality, event log availability, and system integrationrequiredfor effective process mining.

  • Enable ongoing processmonitoringand continuous improvement through KPI tracking, alerts, and performance management frameworks.

  • Support change management efforts by aligning stakeholders around fact-based insights and measurable outcomes.

What you need:

  • ​​Proven experience as a Process Mining Analyst or Lead within Finance, Shared Services, or Operational Excellence environments.

  • ​Undergraduate degreerequired(Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Finance, or related field).

  • ​Written/Oral English: Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, influencing, reasoning, and decision-making skills.

  • ​Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies, project management practices, and process modeling standards (e.g., BPMN).

  • ​Process Mining certifications or hands-on experience withCelonis, SAPSignavioProcess Intelligence, or UiPath Process Mining are highly preferred.

  • ​Background or exposure to Continuous Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or Intelligent Automation is a plus.​

Qualifications & experience:

  • ​​Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Process Mining, Process Excellence, Business Analysis, or Continuous Improvement roles.

  • ​Hands-on experience with process mining tools such asCelonis, SAPSignavio, and/or UiPath Process Mining.

  • ​Strong experience in process mapping, process discovery, and end-to-end process analysis.

  • ​Proven ability to document complex processes and analytical findings in a clear, structured, and business-friendly format.

  • ​Demonstrated experience evaluating and recommending data-driven process improvements.

  • ​Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple organizational levels, including the ability toidentifycritical-to-quality (CTQ) requirements.

  • ​Excellent facilitation, influencing, and negotiation skills.

  • ​Familiarity with automation strategies (RPA, workflow, ERP enhancements) and their role within a Continuous Improvement framework.

  • ​Knowledge of Agile delivery models and cross-functional collaboration is preferred.​
