About the role

We’re looking for an R&D PDM Analyst/Assistant to support product development and maintenance activities across Reckitt’s healthcare, medical device, cosmetic, and general product portfolios. This role is to provide ongoing R&D support to the Reckitt portfolio of medicinal or medical device or cosmetic or general products.

Responsible for the compliance, maintenance, health and safety within the R&D Product Delivery & Maintenance.

The position will be based in Bangplee reporting to R&D Product Delivery & Maintenance Associate. The role will be to provide technical, documentation or analytical support to the current maintenance and development projects on Reckitt portfolio working within the R&D department.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure all technical aspects of the product development, maintenance are carried out as per the agreed timings, with any issues or risks clearly highlighted to line manager in a timely manner.

  • Responsible to support the project for projects, ensuring that these are executed to the standards required for registered products.

  • Support all relevant product specifications and internal documentation is in place and fully approved prior to full production start-up.

  • All assigned development activity must conform to legislative, health & safety and environmental requirements.

  • Assure all document for material change or qualification meeting HALAL regulation requirement.

  • Support to R&D laboratory and stability management in order to comply with the requirements including maintenance activities, audit preparations, etc.

  • Support line manager in measuring and reporting team KPIs to senior management (if requires).

  • Responsible for ensuring all required formulation, feasibility work, validation, stability testing, industrial trials, claim support and dossier preparation are performed on time and to the required standards.

  • Responsible for the compilation, approval and circulation of technical reports throughout the product development process.

  • To initiate and monitor industrial trials as required to produce consumer test samples, stability studies and production transfers as well as be responsible for the production of lab samples for the purpose of evaluation, consumer testing, etc (if requires)

  • Maintaining and updating healthcare database system as appropriate.

  • Respond to deliver the analytical work by carrying out the required testing on product such as analytical, stability, feasibility, consumer test, etc whilst ensuring that the test methods and results are recorded in the appropriate GLP/GMP way. Analyze and report the results as appropriate to support registered healthcare products and/or medical devices.

  • Assure all document for material change or qualification meeting HALAL regulation requirement.

  • Responsible for analytical problem solving in order to support stability testing, industrial trial and method validation.

  • Maintaining and updating healthcare database system as appropriate.

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, pharmacy, chemical engineering or other relevant scientific discipline.

  • Good degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.

  • Knowledge and experience of quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques including HPLC, UV spectrophotometry and wet chemistry techniques would be desirable.

  • Experience of analytical method validation processes would be desirable.

  • Knowledge of Healthcare procedures and regulations would be a distinct advantage.

  • Understands how R&D, projects and initiatives fit within strategic business needs.

  • Basic understanding of own area of expertise and ability to identify opportunities to expand knowledge further.

  • Has a clear understanding of objective, target and milestones and work efficiently to deliver the results.

  • Identifies and establishes working relationships internally and externally understanding responsibility of different functions and levels inside of organization as well as external partners requirements.

  • Good English skills, both spoken and written.
