Position Identification:

Non-Exempt

Reports to: Crew Manager

Position Summary:

To provide safe and efficient installation and/or repair of roofs, roofing material, and other material used in projects identified by TMR Roofing.

Job Functions:

1. Observes all safety rules, including proper usage of PPE.
2. Learn types of roofing material to repair, maintain, and install roofs and accessories.
3. Learn to complete all tasks associated with one or more roofing systems, including PVC, TPO, EPDM, MOD BIT, BUR, and asphalt.
4. Work under general supervision, receiving assignments in the form of work orders, inspection reports, or verbal instructions.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.
6. Must be able to have transportation to our jobsites.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):

1. Must be skilled in the safe and economical use of the full range of tools, equipment, and materials needed for the accomplishment of the assigned work
2. High School diploma or equivalent
3. One or more years of construction experience

Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable):

1. Two or more years roofing experience
2. Knowledge of construction industry
3. Able to read drawings, sketches, and diagrams as required

4. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to squat, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, climb ladder, bend, kneel, type, and talk or hear
5. The employee is also required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel.
6. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
7. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Working Conditions:

Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.

Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds
