Key responsibilities and day to day responsibilities of this position:Administer the Dedicated Hunter Program and oversee volunteer projects in the central region.Coordinate volunteers and all associated projects.Hire and manage seasonal employees to assist with habitat work and volunteer projects.Coordinate with regional shooting ranges and volunteers associated with these ranges.Assist in the administration of various wildlife recreation events and outreach programs.Work closely with the wildlife recreation specialist and conservation outreach manager in the region to help achieve work-plan goals.This is a full-time position (8am to 5pm, Mon-Friday), which requires occasional weekend and evening work, as well as some holidays for special events. Overnight travel is occasionally required to attend meetings and conferences and to support wildlife-management projects."
