Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Assists in maintaining the accuracy and quality of GIS information to support the Division's functions, processes, and analytical requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Performs basic spatial, SQL, and tabular queries. • Converts and geo-references spatial data from one coordinate system to another, using basic geodetic principles. • Uses software, hardware, and tools to integrate multiple databases from a variety of sources, including aerial photography for analytical purposes. • May collect field data using GPS or other equipment as needed.

PAY: $18-20/hour
START DATE: The internship begins in May 2026 (start date flexible) and ends in August 2026. There may be the possibility of an extension.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work duties are typically performed in a general office setting.
