Role Overview

The Sr. Project Manager, Commercial plays a critical role in driving execution and operational excellence across the Commercial organization. The individual in this role will manage complex crossfunctional projects, and establishes the operational infrastructure needed to proactively prioritize, plan, and deliver highimpact work.

Responsibilities

Commercial Project Leadership

Lead endtoend planning, coordination, and delivery of crossfunctional commercial initiatives, ensuring alignment to strategic objectives and ontime execution.

Partner with stakeholders to scope project requirements, estimate resource needs, and develop actionable project timelines.

Commercial Operations and Process Optimization

  • Build and manage a formal intake and prioritization process for Commercial Operations, ensuring clarity on project requests, business impact, and resource allocation.

  • Develop a prioritization framework (e.g., ROI, effort, alignment) to objectively evaluate and rank initiatives for Commercial Operations leadership.

  • Monitor team capacity, workload, and milestones to inform resource planning and recommend adjustments as needed.

  • Define KPIs to track project success, throughput, and operational performance.

CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Act as a key connector between Commercial Operations and Technology project management teams to ensure coordinated execution.

  • Communicate project timelines, risks, and status updates clearly to stakeholders and resolve issues that may impact delivery.

  • Influence crossfunctional alignment by providing datadriven recommendations and facilitating decisionmaking in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 7+ years of experience in project management or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience working with technology release schedules.

  • Experience in biotech, diagnostics, medical device, life sciences, or related industries preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence crossfunctional teams in a matrix environment.

  • Experience developing workflows, intake processes, or operational systems using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholdermanagement skills, including the ability to navigate competing priorities.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
