Great opportunity for Utah licensed NP to join a dedicated team of professionals tailoring diabetes care to adult patients. We provide inpatient diabetes or hyperglycemia care and treatment to adult patients admitted to the hospital with wide range of surgical and non-surgical conditions. Requires ability to treat hyperglycemia and diabetes and understand associated comorbidities such kidney disease, heart disease, steroid therapy, tube feeding, total parenteral nutrition, and various surgical conditions. Candidates who possess comprehensive knowledge of the different types of diabetes and the medications used to treat each are strongly preferred.As a patient-focused organization, the University of Utah Health Science Center exists to enhance the health and well-being of people through patient care, research and education.
