University of Utah Physician Assistant in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
Created in 2025, this Fellowship provides foundational training to prepare APPs for a career in critical and acute care medicine. The fellows participate in a year-long program in a supportive environment with ample autonomy, while caring for medically complex and critically ill patients. The program includes a diverse realm of clinical rotations, a robust didactic curriculum and opportunities to learn from skilled APPs, physicians, clinical pharmacists, nurses and other support staff.The fellowship is within the division of pulmonary and critical care medicine with a focus on medical critical care. The bulk of time spent in the Medical ICU and Huntsman ICU (Heme/Onc). Our team consists of 22 APPs with varying experience levels who work alongside Intensivist Physicians.
