ManpowerGroup Molding Technician II in Salt Lake City, Utah
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in plastic injection molding, is seeking a Molding Technician II to join their team. As a Molding Technician II, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring the maintenance and proper functioning of high-precision molds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay Range: $27.79
Shift: Mon-Fri | 6:30AM-2:30PM
What's the Job?
Perform routine maintenance on plastic injection molds both in the press and on the bench
Disassemble, visually inspect, clean, organize, and reassemble complex high cavitation tooling
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and maintain shop cleanliness
Participate in activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulatory requirements
Assist with special projects and demonstrate support through effective communication and teamwork
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of shop tools and hand tools
Basic shop math skills and ability to read/understand 2D prints and drawings
Understanding of surface finishes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical concepts
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies and perform basic measurement techniques
