Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Career, Electrical and Control Engineer (Water and Wastewater) based out of our Pittsburgh, PA or Salt Lake City, UT office. The position will support our engineering design practice by applying electrical engineering skills and providing services to our expanding process engineering and water and wastewater treatment practices for various industrial and municipal sectors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Apply experience, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills for the development and review of technical approaches and detailed electrical and control system design.
Design and develop electrical and control systems in accordance with applicable specifications, codes, and standards. Possess comprehensive knowledge of NFPA and IEEE guidelines and publications.
Perform electrical design calculations, including load flow analysis, short circuit studies, and protective device coordination assessments. Proficient in utilizing electrical engineering software such as ETAP, SKM, or comparable applications.
Work with engineers and technical experts to design and implement instrumentation and automation systems. Proficient in reading, interpreting, and developing PandIDs.
Prepare and update technical documentation and drawings-including Single Line Diagrams, Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, specifications, etc.-for both Power and Control Systems in accordance with applicable industry codes and standards.
Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess installation and operation of both electrical and control systems.
Prepare for and participate in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties; Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing
Responsible for scoping, executing, managing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments at both task and project levels. Contribute actively to multi-disciplinary project teams and participate in relevant meetings.
Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, play a role supporting lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring; and help broaden our reputation via publishing and visibility at prominent industry conferences.
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.

Education and Licensure
Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited college or university in Electrical and/or Control Engineering. (required)
