Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Market Director, Facility Management, you will provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for the comprehensive management of all facilities across our entire organization. You will be instrumental in ensuring safe, efficient, and well-maintained environments that optimally support our operations and strategic objectives. Every day you will manage and develop a team of facility management professionals, overseeing maintenance, operations, construction projects, space planning, and vendor relationships across multiple sites.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong leadership and organizational skills, a comprehensive understanding of facility operations, building systems, and project management, and proven experience in managing complex, multi-site facility portfolios within a large organization.
Oversees operations of the assigned area for facility management group/sites by:
Conducts department head visits and meetings.
Assures direct reports meet all financial performance goals of areas managed.
Providing a working environment that meets all regulatory compliance.
Manages to established market and hospital budgets.
Verifies and promotes appropriate use of staff, materials, supplies and vendors
Inspects current records of all maintenance procedures to assure they are kept as required to meet all applicable codes and standards; standardizes record keeping.
Assures cost effective measures, inventory control, and standards of performance and productivity are established to meet program requirements.
Drives financial improvements where opportunity exists.
Increasing GPO contract compliance and consolidating service contracts at the division level. Oversees the recruitment, training and development of management and staff that includes:
In collaboration with Divisional Facilities leadership, assist with implementing continuous improvement initiatives that support financial stewardship and national programs.
Actively participates in construction related activities. Manages to established market and hospital budgets.

Inspects current records of all maintenance procedures to assure they are kept as required to meet all applicable codes and standards; standardizes record keeping.

Job Requirements
Required
Significant experience 7 years in healthcare facilities management primarily in a leadership capacity. and
Experience and knowledge of construction project phasing and disruption in an acute healthcare environment including OSHPD requirements. and
Certified Healthcare Fac Mgr, upon hire
Preferred
- Bachelors Other in Engineering, Project Management, or Business or equivalent experience may substitute., upon hire
