As a Store Manager, you will: Manage all aspects of the operations of a State Liquor Store. Maintain a strong leadership presence in the store. Supervise all store personnel. Contribute to the department's service-focused mission by providing superior customer service. Perform cash control duties. Maintain inventory reports. Prioritize, plan, and adjust schedules and maintain employee leave and payroll records. Evaluate employee performance. Other Responsibilities Supervises subordinate personnel including: hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions. Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available. Orders, receives, inspects, and stores equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and/or supplies. Conducts regular and/or spot check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment. Sets up and closes cash registers and prepares deposits. Resolves potential confrontational issues appropriately when dealing with intoxicated individuals, shoplifters, etc. Verifies that cash intake matches sales and inventory activity. Receives and records cash payments; processes related paperwork. Displays new items and existing stock. Assists customers in finding products, making selections and purchasing items. Receives and fills liquor orders for licensees and customers as required. Gathers data, prepares reports or summarizes information. Ensures staff is trained to prohibit sales to minors. "
