Automotive Mechanical Technician | Salt Lake City,UT

Are you skilled in automotive and heavy-duty mechanical repair? Nexeo HR is hiring an Automotive Mechanical Technician to join the team of our esteemed partner a leading tire and automotive service provider.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technician who thrives in a fast-paced,flat-rate environment. In this role,you ll diagnose,service,and repair light-,medium-,and heavy-duty vehicles while contributing to a high-performing and safety-focused service team.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services including mounting,balancing,patching,and replacement when needed
• Maintain a clean,organized,and safe work environment in accordance with company and industry safety standards
• Communicate effectively with service advisors,coworkers,and customers regarding repair needs and recommendations
• Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly according to shop procedures
• Follow all company policies,safety protocols,and equipment handling guidelines

Qualifications

• Experienced Heavy Duty or Automotive Technician (5+ years) ready to take the next step
• Strong diagnostic mindset with hands-on experience across multiple vehicle types
• Comfortable in a fast-paced shop and motivated by performance-based work
• Skilled in advanced mechanical systems (drivetrain,electrical,suspension,brakes)
• Seeking long-term growth with a stable,expanding company
• Open to sharpening advanced diagnostics and technical skills
• Able to work in a team environment that values reliability,ownership,and professionalism

Pay

 $35.00 $38.00 per hour

Schedule

 Full Time | Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
