About the Role

This is a fixed-term, short-term role supporting our Sr. Director of Sales, and is ideal for a highly talented and motivated Executive Assistant who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is excited to make an immediate impact.

As an Executive Assistant within our sales organization at Verkada, you will have high visibility across executive leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day operations of the sales organization run smoothly, fostering a positive employee experience that drives productivity, and owning the planning and coordination of both internal and external events.

As we continue to scale aggressively, our Executive Assistants serve as a strong foundation in helping our organization remain inclusive, safe, and fun.

This role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Sales, SLC.

Please note that this role is a 4-month fixed term employment, and is fully on-site in our SLC office.

 

What You'll Do

  • Partner directly with Leadership to ensure our day to day operations and functions run smoothly.

  • Drive internal and external meetings - coordination, scheduling, organizing and event planning.

  • Manage and maintain strategic calendars: monitor and schedule calendar requests.

  • Manage a quarterly budget, utilizing financial tracking tools.

  • Be a strong support to leadership by taking on administrative duties to better support your executives (EX. taking notes, tracking action items, booking travel/accommodations, etc).

  • Understand prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

  • Ad Hoc requests that support the sales teams.

  • Have fun and enjoy your contribution to growing an exciting company!

     

     

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor's Degree is essential.

  • 2-4 years of administrative support experience

  • Attention to detail, coupled with creative problem solving and superior communication skills.

  • Proactive mindset to handle regular activities without prompting, and advise in advance of potential issues.

  • Track record of accomplishment in all previous roles.

  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to navigate and flourish in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

  • Proficient using Google G-Suite.
