Overview
As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for assigned project designs, coordination, client communications, and associated construction administration. This opening is within our Religious and Cultural group, focusing on temples for The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.

Your responsibilities will include:
Working on projects and teams while maintaining design consistency throughout
Design interior lighting, exterior lighting, power distribution, grounding, lightning protection, telecommunications, and security
Document calculations reflecting design compliance with code and client-specific design requirements
Perform quality control reviews of documents including plans, specifications, and design calculations
Work with Project Managers to ensure that the project schedule is met and that complete documents are provided for each submission
Review contractor RFIs, shop drawings, and product submittals
Provide training and mentorship to early-career team members
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
Professional Engineer (PE) license
5+ years of electrical design experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to excel in a fast-paced team environment
Revit experience preferred

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
