Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant sets and replenishes breakfast food for hotel guests and maintains cleanliness in the breakfast lobby.
Current Food Handlers Permit within one month of employment; must be able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English; and a commitment to providing excellence in service required. Six months food handlers experience is preferred
Responsibilities
The Breakfast Attendant:
Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and change the course of action quickly, being flexible.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Provides outstanding guest service.- Sets up breakfast before guests arrive.
Frequently checks breakfast line for low food supply.
Efficiently replenishes food, beverages, and/or supplies as needed.
Maintains cleanliness of area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food areas as needed.
Removes and disposes of leftover food at the end of the breakfast shift.
Cleans area according to established standards.
Ensures inventory is stocked and properly stored prior to the next day’s shift.
Responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
Follow-up to ensure complete guest satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Food Handler’s Permit within one month of employment; must be able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in English; and a commitment to providing excellence in service required. Six months food handlers’ experience is preferred.
Preferences
Six months food handlers experience is preferred. Experience in the food and/or hospitality industry preferred.
