The Associate Director of Fund Compliance in University Advancement plays a critical role in supporting the effective use of philanthropic resources that drive the Universitys mission. This position helps steward the impact of more than 2,000 donorestablished funds across education, research, healthcare, and community service.As the lead for philanthropic fund operational execution and monitoring, the Associate Director ensures donor intent is honored and institutional accountability is upheld through fund auditing and reporting aligned with institutional policy, GAAP, IRS regulations, UPMIFA, and national standards for philanthropic fund management.The Associate Director of Fund Compliance is a key member of the Donor Relations team and will work closely with the Gift Agreement & Compliance Officer and Senior Director of Stewardship to identify and appropriately escalate compliance matters. The position leads and supports core functions including fund auditing, gift agreement auditing, reporting, project coordination, and accurate data collection and management. The role is responsible for establishing effective processes and systems for fund reconciliation, tracking, analysis, and document management to ensure donor funds are managed and utilized appropriately.This position reports to the Senior Director of Stewardship and may provide additional support to Donor Relations colleagues as needed.
