We need seasonal employees on our farm to assist in the growing, irrigation, and harvesting of hay using tractors and operating other farm equipment. Operating hay equipment for swathing, raking, and bailing hay. Employees will operate, maintain, repair, and service machinery as needed, will clean machinery, will do mechanical work, and will perform infield repairs. Employer may pay performance-based incentive bonuses at the end of the contract period at the employer\'s discretion.
Job requires extensive pushing, pulling, walking, repetitive movements, and exposure to extreme temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Employer will conduct post-hire drug testing at the employer\'s expense to enforce a drug-free workplace. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable.
All workers that have a valid driver\'s license must agree to and comply with the employer\'s fleet policy agreement prior to driving any company vehicles. Workers shall not drive a company vehicle unless written permission is provided to employee. Drivers may be entitled to additional compensation for properly maintaining company vehicles. Drivers will be paid drive time hours at the Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) for the state in which work is performed.
