Compensation: $143000 - $210000 annually

Summary of Role
The Principal Integration Architect is responsible for gathering functional specifications, evaluating existing software systems to identify optimization opportunities, and leading development teams on enterprise-wide technology initiatives. Success in this role requires the ability to harmonize updated requirements into a cohesive systems architecture across multiple domains. You will also serve as a key technical advisor, providing regular updates to leadership regarding the evolution of architectural projects.
Principal and Essential Duties
Creating integration architectures that link various SAP and non-SAP environments to ensure automated processes and seamless data flow across on-premises and cloud systems.
Defining and monitoring compliance for integration guidelines, interface SLAs, access levels, and architectural quality standards across all projects.
Utilizing middleware, web services, and APIs to ensure consistent connectivity between SAP and external systems.
Optimizing the performance of integration solutions while implementing security measures and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Translating high-level business needs into appropriate integration patterns and monitoring middleware configuration and workflows.
Constructing information systems that address organizational needs across various subject areas and domains.
Evaluating current architectures and collaborating with technical staff to recommend enhancements and resolve complex technical hurdles.
Managing end-to-end integration scenarios involving S4HANA on RISE Private Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, ECC, Snowflake, and third-party applications.
Utilizing event-driven architecture and enterprise messaging tools such as SAP Event Mesh.
Applying hands-on expertise with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, ODATA, XSLT, OAuth, SFTP, JDBC, IDOCs, Azure, and SAP BTP.
Leveraging Groovy Script for custom logic and utilizing SAP Integration Suite or SAP PI/PO for development.
Implementing A2A/B2B integrations, Trading Partner Management (TPM), and Integration Advisory tools like MIG/MAG.
Researching emerging technologies to propose necessary architectural changes.
Communicating technical solution challenges and business impacts to stakeholders.
Assisting data owners in root cause analysis for data quality issues and providing updates on design and development processes.
Partnering with project teams to ensure physical and logical designs align with enterprise architecture standards.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
15+ years of total IT experience, including at least 5 years focused specifically on Integration Architecture.
Professional experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
A minimum of five years of experience with SAP BTP-IS/PI/PO, focusing on complex cross-functional business transformation and integration strategy design.
Proven background in software architecture design and engineering.
Comprehensive knowledge of various databases and operating systems.
