Holt Paper Co. in Salisbury, MD is actively seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to service the Salisbury, MD area. This individual will distribute food service and janitorial products safely and in a timely fashion to customers throughout Salisbury, MD. Attention to detail, safety, and efficiency is the key to success in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include but are not limited to:
- Follows route and time schedule to ensure timely deliver of products to customers
- Unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle safely
- Collect payments for deliveries
- Complete logs and trip reports accurately
- Complies with DOT regulations as well as company safety standards
- Communicates with customer service and supervisor when there are issues
- Represent the company in a professional and cost effective manner that leads to customer satisfaction
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CDL-A license
- Proven work experience as a delivery driver
- Ability to operate a handcart and pallet jack safely
- Ability to handle a tractor trailer in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
- Good driving record
