Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based contract opportunity in Salinas, CA. This position begins ASAP and will continue through the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. Assignment: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year
Schedule: Full-time, school-based
Setting: On-site, in-person
Location: Salinas, CA
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive OT evaluations for students with diverse needs
Develop individualized therapy plans based on evaluation results
Provide direct OT services aligned with IEP goals
Document services accurately and in accordance with district requirements
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and school teams
Participate in IEP meetings and share progress updates
Minimum Requirements
Active California Occupational Therapist license
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Understanding of school-based service delivery models
Ability to comply with all district, state, and professional practice standards
