ManpowerGroup Quality Technician in Salem, Oregon
Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting production and development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Salem, OR
Pay Range: Pay rate $20.50
Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm
What's the Job?
Coordinate the collection of samples from production batches/lots to ensure quality standards are met.
Perform complex testing processes to measure physical and chemical characteristics of products using sophisticated testing instruments.
Follow established procedures and guidelines to test and analyze in-process and finished product batches, maintaining high quality standards.
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
Record, report, and document test observations and results clearly and accurately for quality tracking and analysis.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or community college courses in physical science preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related field preferred.
Ability to read labels, interpret data, and follow safety instructions effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
Proficiency with basic math, including measurements, fractions, and calculations.
