ManpowerGroup Quality Technician in Salem, Oregon

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and quality assurance, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Control department supporting production and development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Technician

Location: Salem, OR

Pay Range: Pay rate $20.50

Shift: Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

  • Coordinate the collection of samples from production batches/lots to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Perform complex testing processes to measure physical and chemical characteristics of products using sophisticated testing instruments.

  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to test and analyze in-process and finished product batches, maintaining high quality standards.

  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment regularly to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

  • Record, report, and document test observations and results clearly and accurately for quality tracking and analysis.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or community college courses in physical science preferred.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related field preferred.

  • Ability to read labels, interpret data, and follow safety instructions effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a team environment.

  • Proficiency with basic math, including measurements, fractions, and calculations.
