ManpowerGroup Painter (Direct Hire) - 1st Shift - $21-$24 in Salamanca, New York
Our client, industry leader in entertainment and hospitality, is seeking a Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting casino and auxiliary facilities. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a direct hire opportunity with benefits.
Job Title: Painter (Direct Hire)
Location: Salamanca, NY
Pay Range: $21-$24
Shift: 1st Shift (7am-3pm)
What's the Job?
Paint, stain, varnish, plaster, wallpaper, and apply other finishes to structures throughout the casino and support facilities.
Prepare surfaces by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or water and abrasive blasting to ensure proper adhesion of finishes.
Mix paints and match colors to meet project specifications and customer preferences.
Repair plaster, wallpaper, and other finishes as needed to maintain high standards of appearance.
Maintain records of all surface finishes and assist in other projects as directed, including tasks normally performed by engineers, laborers, carpenters, and physical plant employees.
What's Needed?
Three to four years of professional experience in painting, plasterwork, drywall, or wallpaper installation.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Good manual dexterity, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
