What You'll Be Doing
Operate loader equipment to safely and efficiently move raw and finished materials
Load customer and company trucks accurately while meeting production demands
Perform pre-operation inspections and report equipment issues promptly
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard area
Follow all safety procedures and actively promote safe work practices
What Are We Looking For
Demonstrated capability to safely operate heavy equipment, including front-end loaders
Strong safety awareness and commitment to following operational guidelines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an outdoor industrial setting
Effective communication skills to coordinate yard and loading activities
Willingness to learn site-specific processes and adapt to daily operational needs
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment
Capability to climb ladders, steps, and equipment access points safely
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Sufficient vision, hearing, and depth perception to operate equipment safely
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for the duration of the work shift
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
