ECOLAB Technical Sales Representative in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks aTechnical Sales Representativeto join its industry leading sales team.You'llbe responsible forrevenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts. With a consultative sales approach,you'llbuild relationships with existing customers by understanding their key business drivers and executing system assurance programs. With strong account leadership,you'llalso convert strategic competitive accounts and sellnew technologiesto current customers.

What You Will Do:

Generate and execute sales plans in existing customer base and in assignedcompetitively-heldaccounts, to meet profit increase goals

Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that willmaintainand grow sales

Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and prospective customers, including plant or facility executives

Provide technical support to customers;identifyingand resolving customer challenges, escalating asrequired

Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpretingdataand providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing atoptimallevels.

Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Water

Position Details:

Candidate mustresidewithin a commutable distance from Rosemount, MN

Territory coversabout a 30-mile radius of the surrounding area

Targeted accountsare within the Downstream industries

10%overnight travelrequired

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Three years of technical sales or field sales support experience

Position requires a current and valid driver's license

Physical Requirements:

Drive a company vehicle asrequiredto perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed todetermineeligibility to drive a company vehicle)

Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)

Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience

Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The total Compensation range for this position is $103,100-$154,700 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
