We are seeking an senior large press set-up operator to join our team in the Saint Paul area! This senior-level role focuses on precision setup and operation of complex presses while providing mentorship to Level I and II operators. Job type: Direct hire Location: Saint Paul, MN Wage: $35.00 $45.00/hr. Schedule: Monday Thursday: 6:00 AM 3:30 PM Friday: 6:00 AM 12:00 PM Benefits of the senior large press set-up operator: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Life, Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness insurance Leadership and mentorship opportunities Stable, long-term career growth in metal fabrication Early Friday release at 12:00 PM Duties of the senior large press set-up operator: Set up and operate complex tooling, including draws, forms, and progressives Interpret intricate blueprints and job routings for precise production Perform root cause analysis on die/press issues and coordinate repairs Use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify specifications Conduct quality inspections to identify and label material defects Stage materials and document work instructions for consistent setups Train and mentor junior Set-Up Operators Recommend process improvements for better efficiency and quality Ensure accurate data entry into company collection systems Requirements of the senior large press set-up operator: 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or press operation Mastery of complex press setups and independent troubleshooting Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints High school diploma or GED equivalent is a plus Proficiency with precision measurement tools Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety Contact Information: To learn more about this senior large press set-up opportunity, contact Alejandro at 763-200-3083.
