Senior Financial Reporting Analyst (District) (onsite/hybrid) Location Notice: AgriBank is currently headquartered in downtown St. Paul. Please be aware that we will be relocating to Richfield, MN in August 2026. Position Overview The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst (District) recommends, designs and implements changes to or development of new data aggregation logic in compliance with regulatory requirements and generally accepted accounting principles. Responsibilities include recommending and implementing projects and process improvements to solve complex data processing tasks related to District data used in financial reporting. Job Functions Project and Process Improvements * Participates in Bank and District-wide project teams * Documents business and/or technical requirements including data logic and formulas for developers to implement * Performs accounting and regulatory research and recommends accounting position or disclosure * Recommends timing of project implementation * Establishes test plans * Reviews test results and recommends changes, as needed * Executes test plans * Identifies and recommends projects and process improvements District Data Management * Serves as a data Subject Matter Expert (SME) in financial reporting * Provides technical support and training, as applicable to team members, clients, intradepartmental management, software developers and project managers for a range of data subjects * Reviews accuracy of data, independently researches and resolves data integrity issues * Implements enhanced systematic processes Operational Process Coordination * Performs and participates in training for new/promoted team members and new/revised processes, as needed * Reviews requested deliverables from intradepartmental management, auditors and other third parties * Prepares and submits requested information to intradepartmental management, auditors and other third parties Operational Process Execution * Prepares quantitative inputs for use in financial reporting deliverables * Responds to questions regarding reporting or data needs from clients, intradepartmental co-workers, auditors and other third parties, with assistance from Lead/Manager/Senior Manager Relationship Management * Develops and maintains business service relationships with clients, intradepartmental management, auditors and/or other third parties * Communicates information and guidance regarding technical accounting and regulatory reporting issues, with assistance from Manager/Senior Manager/Director, as needed *This job description is subject to change without notice. Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field * 2 years of public accounting experience or 5 years of related experience * CPA preferred * Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Knowledge * Advanced knowledge of financial reporting standards and processes * Intermediate knowledge of GAAP * Intermediate knowledge of system development, processes and tools * Intermediate knowledge of internal controls * Intermediate knowledge of query language(s) * Basic knowledge of FCA reporting regulations and requirements * Basic knowledge of project coordination principles and practices Skills * Advanced proficiency in office software Microsoft Office Suite * Advanced proficiency in enterprise performance management systems (e.g., EPM) * Advanced proficiency in querying large data sets Physical Requirements * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times The AgriBank Advantage You are the key differentiator in the marketplace and ultimately the most important factor in helping us fulfill our mission to support those who feed the world. The typical base range for this role is between $85,000-$131,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
