Job Title: Maintenance Technician- 1st Shift
Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota
Type: Contract
Compensation: $35.00/hour
Hours: 7AM-3:30PM, 1st shift
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production equipment
Troubleshoot machinery, PLC systems, motors, instrumentation, and facility support equipment
Inspect, test, and validate repairs; complete and document work orders
Support preventative maintenance (PM) programs to reduce downtime
Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups
Maintain parts inventory and ensure equipment readiness
Follow all safety procedures including Lock-out/Tag-out, OSHA, and GMP standards
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and team projects
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
2–3+ years industrial maintenance or mechanical/electrical experience
Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and industrial systems
Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and perform repetitive motions
Comfortable climbing ladders, using lifts, and working at heights
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Able to work in non-air-conditioned environments and around oils, greases, and vibration
