This role partners closely with Payroll, Benefits, HR, Legal, and the third-party leave administrator to resolve complex cases, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and deliver timely, high-quality service. Through vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and continuous process improvement, the Lead Benefit Analyst strengthens program operations by maintaining accurate records, consistent communications, and reliable end-to-end benefit administration.
The Main Responsibilities
HRIS/IT Oversight for Leave and Disability: Lead audits of timekeeping, eligibility, and employee status data across HR, payroll, and benefits systems; resolve discrepancies; and ensure data integrity. Own or support HRIS/IT enhancements affecting leave/disability workflows, including requirements, testing, implementation support, and post-go-live issue resolution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Payroll, HR, managers, Labor Relations, and Legal to ensure accurate timekeeping adjustments and smooth employee transitions (e.g., Paid Parental Leave to Extended Parental Leave).
State Leave Compliance: Support compliance with applicable state leave programs by coordinating required notices/posters and completing employer-required administration for state leave benefits.
Vendor Management & Continuous Improvement: Serve as a key partner to the third-party leave administrator by monitoring service quality, identifying root causes of recurring issues, and recommending process and system improvements. Support documentation of procedures, controls, and reporting to improve accuracy, cycle time, and employee experience.
Inquiries & Escalations: Manage complex escalations from employees, HR, and managers via ServiceNow; coordinate with the vendor on day-to-day inquiries; and ensure timely, accurate resolution consistent with policy, plan provisions, and regulatory requirements.

Experience supporting HRIS/reporting, automation, or workflow improvements (e.g., requirements gathering, user testing, and process documentation); experience with AI-enabled solutions a plus.
