Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support daily maintenance needs at a large corporate and campus. This role focuses on routine maintenance, minor repairs, and helping keep the facility safe, clean, and operating smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance such as changing filters, replacing light bulbs, and cleaning equipment
Handle minor repairs including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and mechanical work
Assist with preventive maintenance on HVAC, boilers, and other building systems
Identify and report facility issues such as leaks, temperature problems, or equipment concerns
Prepare work areas for maintenance projects and outside contractors
Monitor and restock maintenance supplies and materials
Keep work areas, mechanical rooms, and storage spaces clean and organized
Respond to maintenance requests and work professionally with building occupants
Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards
Qualifications
2+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience preferred
General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
Ability to perform basic repairs and troubleshooting
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred (Not Required)
HVAC or building maintenance training or certifications
Boiler experience or license
Experience in commercial or large-campus facilities
Schedule & Work Environment
Monday–Friday, 1st shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
On-call rotation as needed
Large corporate and campus with office, lab, and mechanical spaces
PPE and standard maintenance tools required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
