ManpowerGroup Development Process Engineer in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Development Process Engineer to join their team. As a Development Process Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Process Development and Validation teams.
Job Title: Development Process Engineer
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Pay Range: $45
What's the Job?
Run design of experiments (DOE) studies to characterize processes to improve yield and efficiency
Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to technicians, trainers, and operators
Manage projects including new production equipment, process development/improvements, and cost reductions while supporting new product introductions
Conduct equipment qualifications and process validations
Improve product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput through Lean manufacturing concepts and root cause investigation tools (e.g., DMAIC)
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
5+ years manufacturing engineering experience in medical device or related industry, including process improvement initiatives
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective organizational communication
Experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with attention to detail
