Manpower Staffing General Laborer - Part-time in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania
Our client, a reputable Flooring Business, is seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be an essential part of the construction support team, assisting with flooring installations and related tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.
*Job Title: *General Laborer -- Part Time
*Location: *St. Marys, PA
*Pay Rate: *$15.00/hr
*Shift: *Typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 or 5:00 PM, with hours varying weekly
What's the Job?
- Assist with redoing flooring in residential homes, including carpet, laminate, and vinyl flooring
- Support installation of underlayment and subflooring as needed
- Transport tools and materials to job sites using provided transportation
- Utilize basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to dress code standards
What's Needed?
- Reliable transportation to the shop and willingness to be transported to job sites
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift; team lifting for heavier items
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
- Previous construction or flooring experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Good attendance and willingness to learn new skills
