Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on active job sites, performing tasks such as grading, excavation, backfilling, and material handling. Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks while working closely with site supervisors and crew members to ensure operations run smoothly. Follow jobsite safety standards and DOT requirements, assist with site preparation and cleanup as needed, and travel to project sites when required.
Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on active job sites.
Perform grading, excavation, backfilling, and material handling tasks.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance checks.
Collaborate closely with site supervisors and crew members.
Follow jobsite safety standards and adhere to DOT requirements.
Assist with site preparation and cleanup as needed.
Travel to project sites when required.
Essential Skills
Proven experience operating heavy equipment.
Valid DOT Health Card.
Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CDL not required, but preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
