Restrike & Specialty Bullets - Assembly | St. George,UT

Are you skilled in operating industrial machinery? Nexeo HR is looking for a Restrike & Specialty Bullets - Assembly to join the team of our esteemed partner in St. George,UT. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in manufacturing or production who thrive in a fast-paced,hands-on environment. In this role,you will operate restrike presses to manufacture bullets,maintain product quality,perform basic maintenance,assist with cleaning and material handling,and complete other duties as needed while reporting to the Restrike Team Leader. Responsibilities:

• Operate restrike press at optimal rate and quality
• Operate according to established procedures and goals
• Maintain dimensional and other quality requirements
• Inspect incoming bullets
• Do not punch defective bullets
• Communicate issues to team leader and coworkers
• Inspect finished bullets
• Ensure defective bullets are not passed on for packing
• Adjust equipment or communicate issues to team leader
• Assist with changeovers
• Perform adjustments,maintenance,and repairs
• Assist with packing,material handling,and other duties as needed
• Accurately record and report product quality,process conditions,and output
• Keep assigned area clean and well organized according to 5S and other manufacturing principles

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to catch and prevent quality problems
• Ability to keep multiple machines running simultaneously
• Effective communication skills with leaders and co-workers
• Ability to move quickly,stay on feet most of the shift,lift up to 50 lbs,climb ladders,and perform very physical work
• Ability to follow safety rules,stay productively busy,and share improvement ideas
• Willingness to wear safety glasses,safety shoes,gloves,and hearing protection
• Ability to work four 10-hour shifts; willingness to adjust or work extra hours as needed
• Demonstrated good behavior and attendance

Pay:  $16.50 $19.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Full Time | 1st Shift | Mornings | Monday Thursday | 4:00 AM 2:30 PM
• Full Time | 2nd Shift | Evenings | Monday Thursday | 2:00 PM 12:30 AM
