Maintenance Technician HOA & Residential Services | St. George,UT
Nexeo HR is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support HOA and residential maintenance services in the St. George area. This is a full-time,long-term opportunity for a reliable,skilled handyman who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in quality repairs and customer service.
This role is ideal for someone with strong general maintenance and handyman experience,including pool service and equipment maintenance,who can work independently with minimal training.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs for HOA,residential,and commercial properties
- Complete basic plumbing repairs (leaks,faucets,toilets,minor pipe work)
- Perform light electrical work (outlets,fixtures,minor repairs)
- Repair and maintain outdoor and common areas (railings,sidewalks,fences,small structures)
- Perform general handyman tasks including minor carpentry,repairs,and installations
- Assemble furniture and install shelves,fixtures,and hardware
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Maintain professionalism when interacting with residents and clients
- Service and maintain swimming pools and spa systems,including cleaning,vacuuming,and debris removal
- Test and balance pool water chemistry (chlorine,pH,alkalinity,etc.) to ensure safe and compliant conditions
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps,filters,heaters,and valves
- Identify and troubleshoot pool system issues and perform minor repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Proven maintenance technician or handyman experience (higher experience = higher pay)
- Prior experience in pool service or as a pool technician is required for this role
- Strong background in general repairs,maintenance,and troubleshooting
- General knowledge of plumbing,electrical,and construction repairs
- Residential construction,landscaping,or pool maintenance experience is a plus
- CPO Certification (Certified Pool Operator) is a strong plus,not required
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
- Professional,presentable,and customer-service oriented
- Valid driver s license with a reasonably clean driving record
- Must be dependable and safety-minded
Pay
$23.00 $27.00 per hour
Schedule
Full Time | Monday Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
