Adecco US, Inc. Machine Operator in Saint Cloud, Minnesota
Adecco is partnering with a great client in Saint Cloud Minnesota to hire a Machine Operator for this exciting contract to hire opportunity. This position will mostly be helping preparing outgoing shipments where a delicate touch is needed.
Shift: 6am 3:30pm Monday-Thursday
Friday 6am-10am
3 month contract to hire
Pay $18-$20
Plan and organize daily projects
Obtain daily work order (JPR).
Plan the methods for assembling parts, based on blueprints or oral and written instructions.
Check the quality of raw materials.
Estimate the amounts, types, or costs of materials needed.
Monitor project changes based on work orders.
Carry wood from inventory.
Operate optimizer
Calibrate computer system of optimizer to cut wood based on blueprint specifications.
Insert wood into optimizer saw.
Measure project dimensions using measuring tape.
Remove project from optimizer saw.
Prepare and quality check wood before additional processing
Check finished project for quality.
Confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities between departments.
Prepare wood project for other departments by wrapping with tape.
Store project on carts for additional processing.
Maintenance
Check equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Communicate with maintenance staff for major maintenance issues.
Maintain established safety rules and regulations.
Dispose scrap pieces of wood to waste bin.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
